CNC Machining
The recent acquisition of a Thermwood 3-Axis Router has expanded our production capabilities allowing even greater accuracy, consistency and speed. The router produces exact parts every time, making a smooth transition from one-off prototypes to reliable volume production.
The accuracy of the CNC router and its’ custom labeling system means that onsite assembly and installation of cabinetry or merchandisers is a smooth, ‘no surprises’ process—it’s like fitting the pieces of a puzzle together without the guesswork. Other benefits include reduced material and labour costs using the router’s cost-effective nesting feature, which groups or “nests” items together to get the most out of each sheet of material, resulting in less waste and handling.
Three-Dimensional Drawings
Bond uses design and drafting software which allows us to create custom, three-dimensional drawings with interchangeable colours and finishes, helping clients visualize modifications and the final product. This is particularly useful for prototype development and casework layouts, where we can show cabinetry placement in a specific space.
We specialize in architectural millwork, and healthcare furniture and store fixture design. From the final drawings, we can also create ‘exploded’ drawings showing exactly how the product needs to be assembled for clients who ship knock-down items to various locations, such as a chain of retail stores.
Design Consult
Want to see how different upholstery or surface finishes will look in your setting? We’ll come to you with a variety of colour and finishing swatches so you can see first hand how they will look in your environment. While we’re there, we’ll also measure your space, offer suggestions and answer any questions you may have.
Exam Table Loaner Program
At Bond, we know doctors and healthcare providers rely on every exam table they have. So we offer loaner tables, for a small fee, to clients in the Lower Mainland while they’re awaiting delivery of their new or recovered table. No down time; no inconvenience.
